Hey there!
I'm Rhiannon (she/her).

Testimonials

"Rhiannon possesses a remarkable duality that serves her well. She is capable of blending her creative and research interests into compelling work that serves both her artistic aesthetic, and the deeply principled thought-work that goes into her projects. This was especially apparent in her dramaturgy for Angels Theatre Company where her research was thorough, and easily accessible (and usable) to the actors. She is the rare scholar and artist that finds commonality and connections in both worlds worthy of exploration."

Timothy Scholl

Artistic Director of Angels Theatre Company

It's lovely to meet you!

Nebraska-bred and New York-trained (and, yes, named after Stevie Nicks!), I am a nationally-recognized playwright, screenwriter, dramaturg, actor, and analyst based in upper Manhattan. My work aims to elevate silenced voices, challenge society’s conventional views of history, provide unity in discomfort, and spark genuine query between opposition. My work often revolves around gender and sexuality, exploring their entwining with the arts, politics, history, and identity.

In 2021, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Molloy College/CAP21 Conservatory, receiving my BFA in Theatre Arts and Writing. Currently, you can find me in the writers' rooms of The Theatre Times and In Repair Media; as dramaturgical consultant for a variety of writers and theatres; on stage, in front of the camera, and behind the mic; and working on several second (and sixth) drafts. Feel free to check out my work on NPX and MediaMatch; as a member of LMDA, Ring of Keys, and RISE; and on Actors Access and Backstage.

In my spare time, I'm an avid reader (visit my fledgling Bookstagram here!), a tea addict, a self-professed nerd, and a lover of travel and linguistics. Ask me about my favorite books, forgotten historical women, or the German and English languages: I’d be delighted to geek out with you.

I can't wait to meet you - let's tell some stories!
